NEW YORK (AP) - The dollar edged down slightly against the euro late Tuesday night in New York from what it traded earlier in the day. The 15-nation euro traded at $1.5605 compared with $1.5601 it fetched in the late afternoon. Two leading European banks reported more fallout from the subprime lending crisis Tuesday, driving the currency down.
